We support policies that protect LGBTQIA+ individuals in employment, housing, healthcare, education, and public life while ensuring every person is treated with dignity and respect. Tennessee is strongest when all of its residents can participate fully in society, pursue their goals, and live openly without fear of discrimination or harassment.

Healthcare is a human right. No Tennessean should have to choose between paying their bills and seeing a doctor. We support expanding access to affordable healthcare, lowering prescription drug costs, investing in rural hospitals, and ensuring every family can receive the care they need regardless of income, employment status, or zip code.

A strong public education system is the foundation of a prosperous Tennessee. We support fully funding K-12 public schools, increasing teacher salaries, modernizing school facilities, reducing classroom overcrowding, expanding school counseling and mental health services, and ensuring every student has access to the resources they need to succeed. Public education should be a pathway to opportunity, and we believe every child deserves a high-quality education regardless of their family's income or where they live.

College, trade schools, apprenticeships, and workforce training programs should be accessible to every Tennessean who wants to build a better future. We support expanding tuition assistance programs, investing in community colleges and technical schools, increasing workforce development partnerships with employers, and reducing financial barriers that prevent students from pursuing higher education. Tennessee's economy grows stronger when every resident has the opportunity to develop valuable skills and pursue meaningful careers.

Tennessee's economy is built by workers, and working people deserve fair wages, safe workplaces, and economic security. We support strengthening workplace protections, defending the right of workers to organize, combating wage theft, expanding paid family and medical leave, and investing in job training and workforce development. We believe economic growth should benefit working families, not just large corporations, and that every Tennessean who works hard should have the opportunity to build a stable and prosperous life.

The Tennessee United Workers Party believes responsible government begins with responsible budgeting. We support maintaining balanced budgets, increasing transparency in government spending, conducting regular audits to eliminate waste, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent efficiently and effectively.
